Bio

Silver Ford Pickups is two singer/songwriters and friends joining forces. Individually AJ Silverman and Mike Ford have years of experience performing solo and in bands. Together their sound is bigger and their range is wider.

They play covers in the Rock, Americana, Folk, and Country genres, alongside tasteful original songs. Set lists typically include songs from across genres and decades that crowds know, love, and will sing along to. Set lists tend to become fluid as the room dictates the vibe, and requests are always welcome.

Silver Ford Pickups is an acoustic duo that typically plays in a format they call "Acoustic Plus." AJ plays acoustic guitar and sings lead vocals while Mike plays lead electric guitar and sings backup vocals, delivering a higher energy performance without getting quite as loud as a full band. When the room calls for an adaptation in style, Silver Ford Pickups can easily shift to all acoustic for quieter, intimate venues, or even build out a full band should that be the preferred configuration.

The name Silver Ford Pickups is a play on their last names Silverman & Ford. Pickups fit naturally to complete the name.

Silver Ford Pickups is based in the Orange County/Los Angeles area, but can cover much of Southern California. They are available for bars, breweries, restaurants, wine bars, private events, listening rooms, and festivals.
